A Faster, Clearer Website for Wellington Homeowners

In April 2026, we completed a full rebuild of the Wellington House Repiling website. This was not simply a new coat of paint. We wanted the website to reflect the same standards we bring to our foundation work: clear communication, specialist knowledge, careful workmanship, and respect for the people who trust us with their homes.

Foundation concerns can be stressful. When a floor feels uneven, a builder's report raises questions, or a homeowner notices movement, the last thing they need is a slow website with vague information. We decided it was time to make the online experience more dependable and useful from the first visit.

Faster from the first click

The old website had served us for years, but mobile performance and load times no longer matched what visitors expect. The rebuild moved the site from WordPress and Elementor to a custom Astro website, giving people a much faster experience on phones, tablets, and computers.

The previous website introduced what we do, but it did not give every service the space it deserved. The new website now has detailed information about house leveling, foundation repair, concrete and Tōtara pile replacement, timber pile replacement, and earthquake foundation strengthening.

Each page explains the warning signs, the type of work involved, what homeowners can expect, and where we provide the service. That makes it easier to understand which information is relevant before making contact.

Practical answers to common foundation questions

Homeowners often ask similar questions before a foundation assessment: How long could the work take? Can we stay in the house? Does every damaged pile mean a full repile? What signs should we watch for? The rebuilt website includes expanded FAQ sections across the homepage and service pages so visitors can get straightforward answers without hunting through the site.

The answers do not replace an assessment of an individual property, but they help people understand the process and prepare better questions for a conversation with us.

A better view of real projects

Foundation work happens underneath homes, so much of it is normally hidden from view. Our rebuilt project gallery makes that work easier to see. It now includes 67 photographs organised into six categories covering access, confined spaces, house leveling, jack and pack work, mechanical connections, and piles.

Our core work has not changed. Stephen remains personally involved in every job, and Wellington House Repiling continues to focus exclusively on house foundations across Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Porirua, and the Kapiti Coast.

What has changed is how clearly we can show that work and explain it. The rebuilt website gives homeowners faster access to the information they need and a better understanding of what happens beneath their homes before they decide on the next step.
